ExpenseLens AI only processes receipt and expense data to provide scanning, OCR, extraction, export, and audit features.

Data handling

Images may be uploaded to the server gateway for processing.
Server-side API keys stay on the backend and are not bundled in the iOS app.
Processed records can be retained or deleted according to the app settings and server configuration.
Debug upload retention is disabled by default and only enabled when explicitly configured.
